MED Approval - FX 6 Litre and 9 Litre Extinguishers
Zenova FX range of 6 and 9 litre extinguishers have been approved for the marine industry.
The coveted Marine Equipment Directive (MED) approval confirms that the Zenova extinguishers meet the standards set forth by the Marine Equipment Directive to ensure that extinguishers are specifically designed and approved for use on marine vessels to ensure safety at sea.​​
MER Approval - FX 6 Litre and 9 Litre Extinguishers
Zenova FX range of 6 and 9 litre extinguishers have been approved for the marine industry.
As a result of the UK leaving the European Union (EU), the implementation of the Marine Equipment Directive (MED) is no longer applicable to UK flagged vessels. Consequently, the United Kingdom Maritime & Coastguard Agency (MCA) has implemented the UK Conformity Assessment Scheme for certification of marine equipment. This has resulted in a new regulation for all UK flagged vessels, called the Marine Equipment Regulation (MER).
